2 What are Indirect Objects? Indirect objects are nouns that indirectly receive the action of a verb. Example: I wrote a letter to Anita. We made tacos for everyone.

3 How do we find the indirect object? Find the verb in the sentence and then ask the questions: To whom / what? Or For whom / what? We planned a party for Marcela. Carlos read a story to the children.

Unlike direct objects and their pronouns, we can use both the indirect object noun and the indirect object pronoun in the same sentence. (But we do not have to) Siempre les digo la verdad a mis padres. Ellos le dan la tarea al profesor. Tomás me escribió una carta a mí. A Silvia le gustan los tamales.

12  If both the direct and indirect object pronouns start with L…change the indirect to se  MeNos  TeOs  SeSe  Yo doy las aretes a María.  Yo se las doy.  Yo voy a darselas.  Yo estoy dandoselas.
