2 TIPOS DE CONDICIONALES Y USOS
Type Zero – Situación siempre verdadera. If you freeze water, it turns to ice. (Si congelas el agua se convierte en hielo Type I – Situación real o posible. If I study, I will pass the exams. (Si estudio, aprobaré los exámenes) Type II – Situación hipotética. If I studied, I would pass the exams. (Si estudiara/estudiase, aprobaría los exámenes) Type III – Situación hipotética del pasado. If I had studied, I would have passed the exams. (Si hubiera estudiado, habría aprobado los exámenes)

Tipo 0: If+present simple, present simple Tipo I: If+present simple, will+infinitivo Tipo II: If+ past simple, would+infinitivo Tipo III: If+past perfect, would have+infinitivo

4 CONJUNCIONES CONDICIONALES
If: si If I see him, I'll give him the message. Si lo veo, le daré el mensaje. Whether: si I don't know whether they will agree on that subject. No sé si ellos estarán de acuerdo en ese tema. Unless: a menos que Don't go there unless they call you. No vayas allá a menos que ellos te llamen. Provided/providing: siempre que, mientras You can borrow my car providing you return it today.  Puedes tomar prestado mi coche siempre que lo devuelvas hoy. As long as: siempre que, mientras You can stay here as long as you work hard. Te puedes quedar aquí mientras trabajes duro. In case: en caso de que We will take our umbrellas in case it rains. Llevaremos nuestros paraguas en caso de que llueva.

5 WISH + PAST SIMPLE Se utiliza cuando queremos que una situación sea diferente en el presente o en un futuro. También se utiliza como “Ojalá …” I wish I were rich (but I am not) (Ojalá fuera rico, no lo soy) I wish I spoke Italian (but I don´t) (Ojalá hablara italiano, no lo hablo)

6 WISH + PAST PERFECT Se utiliza para expresar que quisieramos que una situación del pasado hubiera sido diferente. I wish I had learned English when I was a kid (but I didn’t). (Ojalá hubiera aprendido inglés cuando era niño, pero no lo hice) I wish I hadn't eaten so much (I ate a lot). (Ojalá no hubiera comido tanto, comí un montón)

7 WISH + WOULD + INFINITIVE
Se utiliza para expresar desagrado o irritación sobre algo. I wish you would stop bothering me. (Ojalá dejaras de molestarme) I wish it would stop raining (I'm impatient because it is raining and I want to go outside) (Ojalá dejara de llover. Estoy impaciente porque está lloviendo y quiero salir fuera) I wish she'd be quiet (I am annoyed because she is speaking) (Ojalá ella estuviera callada. Me molesta porque está hablando) Para expresar que simplemente quieres que algo suceda en el futuro, ( no que fuera diferente) se utiliza el verbo HOPE en vez de Wish. I hope it won’t rain tomorrow. (Desearía que no lloviera mañana)
