A Brief History of Empanadas Empanadas are very popular stuffed bread pastries that originate from Spain. At some point in time, the pastry made it’s way and became highly popular in South America. There are many types of empanadas, but the most common are filled with meats and sauces. But the empanadas I made are (for YOUR benefit) filled with homemade strawberry preserves.

Six Sentences I mixed the cream cheese and butter I added flour and kneaded the dough My dad mainly rolled the dough My dad added the jelly We baked the empanadas for 20 minutes We powdered them with sugar. IN SPANISH: Mezcle el queso crema y la mantequilla. Anadido la harina y se amasa la masa. Mi padre puso en marcha la masa. Mi padre anade la geletina. Nos horneamos las empanadas para veinte minutnos. Estamos en polvo las empanadas con azucar.
