7 ANTES DE EMPEZAR: Since this unit focuses on la familia, we will be examining lots of family trees. Family trees are a way to visually represent the relationships between people. Here’s how it’s done! If there is a horizontal line (and only a horizontal line!) connecting two people, it means they are married If there is a vertical line connecting people, it means they are parents and children If people are connected by a vertical and a horizontal line, it means they are siblings.

I will then ask, “Qué tienes?” You will be respond, “Yo tengo (enter Spanish word here). You will win a point for your team, and we will play to 10 points.
