3  To grow old is the only way to live for a long time.

4  Mature age is the one on which we are still young, but with much more effort.

5 What I am more ashamed of is not my youth nonsense acts, but not to make them all over again.

6  To grow old is coming from passion to compassion.

7  Many people do not reach the eighties because they try for a long time staying on the forties.

8  Will power rules on the twenties, spirit on thirties, judgment on forties.

9  One who is not beautiful on the twenties, nor strong at thirties, nor rich at forties, nor wise at fifties, will he never be beautiful or strong, or rich or wise.

10  It is truth that when you pass the sixties are very few the things that we think are nonsense.

11  Young people think old people are fool; old people know young people are.

12 La madurez del hombre es haber vuelto a encontrar la seriedad con la que jugaba cuando era niño.

13 Nada va más deprisa que los años.

14 Cuando era joven decía: “ ya verás cuando tenga cincuenta años” Tengo cincuenta años y no he visto nada.
