7 IR + a + Infintive Think of this as a formula that allows you to describe the near future. In English: “…going to do…” Notice the “a” which is needed in between the conjugation of IR and the infinitive! Ejemplo: – Yo voy a leer. I’m going to read. – Vamos a ver la película. We are going to watch the movie.
