¿Qué tiempo hace? What is the weather like? (What weather is it making?) In English we say “It is…” to express weather expressions. En español, we use several different expressions. Hace… Está…

Hace mucho frío. La temperatura está a 10 grados. Tú ves las flores más bonitas en esta estación. Me gusta caminar bajo la lluvia. Durante esta estación generalmente llueve mucho. El deporte más popular en la escuela durante esta estación es el fútbol americano. Es la mejor estación para esquiar. Durante esta estación es divertido ir a la playa y nadar en el mar. Durante esta estacion Mexico celebra el dia de los muertos, el primero (1) de noviembre. Durante esta estación celebramos el día de acción de gracias en Estados Unidos. Uso con frecuencia mis gafas de sol. Me gusta esta estación porque nado mucho y uso mi traje de baño. Nieva mucho. Esta estacion empieza el 22 de septiembre y termina el 20 de diciembre. Generalmente hace fresco. Hace mucho calor, quiero estar en la piscina.

Most Spanish-speaking countries use the Celsius scale of temperature, while the U.S. uses the Fahrenheit scale. To convert temperatures: C0 x 9/ = F0 (C0 x = F0 ) F0 x 5/ = C0 (F0 / = C0 )
