El Imperfecto de Subjuntivo Pgs. 228-231 Paco Krout, Domingo Hossain
2
Imperfect Subjunctive Imperfect follows same rule as present subjunctive for when to use. After UWEIRDO However Independent clause needs to be in imperfect, preterit or refer to previous experience Ex. Mis padres preferían que durmiéramos en casa. (My parents preferred that we sleep at home.)

Imperfect Subjunctive The imperfect subjunctive forms are very easy to remember if you know the preterite forms. Drop the –ron (used for third person plural of preterite) And Add… -ra-ramos -ras-rais -ra-ran OR… -se-semos -ses-seis -se-sen
4
Notas In the nosotros form, there is a written accent on the last vowel of the stem ( comiéramos, comiésemos) In most cases, the – ra or –se endings are interchangeable The –se ending is not used as frequently as the –ra ending but you should be familiar with it.
