5 Stem change verbs Most stem change verbs follow the rule that the stem always stays the same and the ending changes, like hablar:

6 Stem change verbs Other verbs change both the stem and the ending when you conjugate them. This can be pretty tricky- but don’t worry we’ll go slowly and do a lot of examples together!

7 Stem change verbs There are four different types of stem changes. In some verbs: -An e changes to an ie -An o changes to a ue -An e changes to an i -A u changes to a ue

10 Stem change verbs are sometimes called boot verbs. This is because there is a stem change in every form besides the nosotros form. When you draw a line around the stem changers, you get a picture of a boot!
