1 Repaso  I met my longtime friend.  Encontré a mi viejo amigo.  The difficult thing is to finish it all.  Lo difícil es terminar todo.  It was 3:00 in the morning.  Eran las tres de la mañana.  Juan was doing his homework when his mother called.  Juan hacía su tarea cuando su madre llamó.

2 Repaso  The girl was 8 years old when she went to school for the first time.  Tenía 8 años cuando fue a la escuela por la primera vez.  Voz pasiva: El hombre compró el coche.  El coche fue comprado por el hombre.  Voz pasiva: Los estudiantes de esta escuela reciben muchas tareas.  Muchas tareas son recibidas por los estudiantes de esta escuela.

3 Repaso  Voz pasiva: The books are read by all the students.  Los libros son leídos por todos los estudiantes.  She has traveled.  Ella ha viajado.  We have read the books.  Hemos leído los libros.  When the boy arrived, the party had ended.  Cuando el chico llegó, la fiesta había terminado.
