Saben que arrepen- timiento es necesario; por eso, lo ponen primero. “Salvos al creer, ya se arrepintió”. Introduction. Many teach this in order to teach “faith only.” They know repentance is necessary; therefore, they put it first. “Saved when believe, already repented.”

3 ¿Arrepentirse antes de creer? Repent before believing? Desde luego, son inconsecuentes porque también saben que la confesión es necesaria y no puede ser antes de creer. Of course, they are inconsistent because they also know that confession is necessary and it can’t come before believing.

Así son el creer y el arrepentirse del evangelio que predicamos y obedecemos. The important thing here is that they believe in Christ and repent toward Christ. This is the case of the believing and repenting of the gospel that we preach and obey.

Hech. 3:19, “Por tanto, arrepentíos y convertíos, para que vuestros pecados sean borrados…” Repentance is not something man must do? Acts 3:19, “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out..”

Hech. 2:38, “Y Pedro les dijo: Arrepentíos y bautícese cada uno de vosotros en el nombre de Jesucristo para perdón de vuestros pecados, y recibiréis el don del Espíritu Santo”. Acts 2:38, “Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
