2 “En todo semejante a sus hermanos” Hebreos 2:17 “Like His brethren in all things” Hebrews 2:17

3 “Dios”, palabra plural, Padre, Hijo, Espíritu Santo … Tres Personas, pero Uno (unidos) para llevar a cabo el mismo propósito … “God,” plural word, Father, Son, Holy Spirit … Three Persons, but One (united) to carry out the same purpose.

10 Tuvo cuerpo para poder morir por nosotros. Heb. 10:4, 5. Ningún hombre podía (todos pecan); ángeles no pueden morir. He had a body so that He could die for us. Heb. 10:4, 5. No man could (all sin); angels can’t die.

11 Pero no era “exactamente como nosotros”. La Biblia no dice esto. Había gran diferen- cia entre Cristo y los demás hombres. But He was not “exactly like us.” The Bible does not say this. There was a great differ- ence between Christ and other men.

12 Dios Todopoderoso vivió en ese cuerpo. Por eso, era muy diferente. No era “exactamente como nosotros”. God Almighty lived in that body. Therefore, He was very different. He was not “just like us.”

13 Rom 8:3 “en semejanza de carne de pecado”, pero no “exactamente como” pues nunca pecó El mismo. Rom. 8:3, “in likeness of sinful flesh,” but not “just like us” because He Himself never sinned.

19 Intelecto, voluntad, emociones son cualidades divinas. Fuimos creados a la imagen de Dios; por eso, las tenemos. Jesús las trajo cuando vino al mundo. Intellect, will, emotions are divine qualities. We were created in the image of God; there- fore we have them. Jesus brought them with Him when He came to the world.

20 Jn. 10:33 Judíos creían que Jesús era un mero hombre. Querían apedrearle porque “tú siendo hombre te haces Dios”. 5:18. Jn. 10:33 Jews believed Jesus was a mere man. Wanted to stone Him because “you being a man make yourself God.” 5:18.

21 Sólo veían su cuerpo. No entendían Col. 1:15; 2:9; Heb. 1:3; Jn. 12:45; 14:9. Eran carnales, no podían reconocer a Cristo. No reconocían a Dios en ese cuerpo. They could only see His body. Didn’t under- stand Col. 1:15; 2:9; Heb. 1:3; Jn. 12:45; 14:9 They were carnal, couldn’t recognize Christ. Didn’t recognize God in that body.

22 Distinción clara entre Adán y Cristo. 1 Cor. 15:47, “El primer hombre (Adán) es de la tierra, terrenal; el segundo hombre, que es el Señor, es del cielo”. Clear distinction between Adam and Christ. 1 Cor. 15:47, “The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.”

23 Jn 3:31, “El que de arriba viene, es sobre todos; el que es de la tierra, es terrenal; el que viene del cielo, es sobre todos. 32 Y lo que vio y oyó, esto testifica”. Era el mismo. Jn 3:31, “He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly. He who comes from heaven is above all. And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies.” He was the same person.

24 Rom 3:23 Todos pecaron, pero 1 Ped 2:22 Jesús nunca pecó. Era la gloria del Padre. No era “exactamente como nosotros”. Rom. 3:23 All have sinned, but 1 Pet 2:22, Jesus never sinned. He was the glory of the Father. He was not “just like us.”

25 Jesús era adorado. Mat. 8:23; 9:18; 14:33; 15:21-22; 20:20; 28:8-10, 16-17; Jn 9:35-38. Pero Hech 10: 25, 26, “levántate”. Jesus was worshipped. Mt. 8:23; 9:18; 14:33; 15:21-22; 20:20; 28:8-10, 16-17; Jn 9:35-38. But Acts 10:25, 26, “stand up.”

29 El hombre no nace pecador. No peca por ser hombre. No tiene que pecar. No tiene que querer pecar. El pecado no es parte integral de la naturaleza del hombre. Man is not born a sinner. He does not sin because he is a man. He does not have to sin. He does not have to want to sin. Sin is not an integral part of the nature of man.

30 Jesús no tuvo que ser borracho, ladrón, adúltero, homosexual, codiciar mujeres, fumar, usar drogas, etc. para comprender, ser compasivo y ser nuestro ejemplo. Jesus did not have to be a drunkard, thief, adulterer, homosexual, lust for women, smoke, use drugs, etc. to understand, be compassionate and be our example.

31 Heb. 4:15, “fue tentado en todo según nuestra semejanza, pero sin pecado”. El Diablo hizo todo intento, empleó toda tác- tica para tratar de hacerle pecar. Heb. 4:15 “was tempted in all points like as we, yet without sin.” Devil made every attempt, employed every tactic in order to try to make Him sin.

32 Pero Heb. 4:15 no dice que Jesús QUERÍA pecar o que el pecado le era ATRACTIVO. Heb. 1:9, “Has amado la justicia, y aborrecido la maldad” -- ¡toda maldad! But Heb. 4:15 does not say that Jesus WANTED to sin or that sin was ATTRACTIVE to Him. Heb. 1:9, Jesus “loved righteousness, and hated iniquity” – all iniquity!

33 Heb. 4:15, “pero sin pecado”. Aparte de, excluido el pecado, ausencia total del cuadro. Sant 1:14, tentado por deseos carnales … Jesús no los tenía. Heb. 4:15, “but without sin.” Apart from, sin excluded, total absence from picture. James 1:14, tempted by carnal desires … Jesus didn’t have any.

34 Jesús “tentado” en el sentido de ser “probado”, pero no atraído, seducido por los deseos malos, como dice Sant. 1:14 Jesus was “tempted” in the sense of being “tried”, but not drawn, seduced by evil desires, according to James 1:14.

35 Entonces ¿entendió al pecador? Tampoco estaba ciego, sordo, mudo, endemoniado. ¿Entendió y tuvo compasión de estos? Then, did He understand the sinner? Neither was He blind, deaf, mute, demon- possessed. Did He understand and have compasion for these?

36 Jesús no entendió el pecado por la experiencia. Nunca tenía culpa. Nunca sintió remordimiento. Nunca se arrepintió. Nunca quería “repetir” algún pecado. Jesus did not understand sin by experience. He was never guilty. He never felt remorse. He never repented. He never wanted to “repeat” some sin.

37 Es nuestro perfecto ejemplo. Nos comprende (Jn. 2:24, 25) y es muy compasivo. Pero no era “exactamente como nosotros”. He is our perfect example. He understands us (Jn. 2:24, 25) and is very compassionate. But He was not “just like us.”

38 Heb. 4:15, Es nuestro Sumo Sacerdote, pue- de compadecerse de nuestras debilidades. Heb. 2:18, padeció siento tentado, puede socorrer a los que son tentados. Heb. 4:15, He is our High Priest, can sympa- thize with our weaknesses. Heb. 2:18, suf- fered being tempted, can help those who are tempted.

39 Jesucristo es, pues, el Perfecto Puente entre Dios y el hombre. Jn. 14:6, Yo soy el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida. Jesus Christ is, then, the Perfect Bridge between God and man. Jn. 14:6, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
