Enrique’s parents prefer that he go to the city. Mis amigos insisten en que yo no llegue tarde a las reuniones. My friends insist that I don’t arrive late to the meetings. Queremos que Carlos venga con nosotros. We want Carlos to come with us. Alberto necesita que Alicia le ayude con la tarea. Alberto needs Alicia to help him with the homework.

Subjuntivo/ Indicativo/ Infinitivo
Cuando no hay dos sujetos, no usamos subjuntivo. Cuando no hay diferencia de persona, verbo uno tiene un infinitivo después del verbo.

Ejemplos con infinitivos
Enrique prefiere ir al campo. Enrique prefers to go to the country. Mis amigos insisten en llegar temprano. My friends insist on arriving early. Carlos quiere venir con nosotros. Carlos wants to come with us. Alicia necesita ayudar a Alberto con la tarea. Alicia needs to help Alberto with the homework.
