4 Los usos del pan Uno de los usos posibles del pan es la elaboración de bocadillos. Give them the opportunity to ask ‘Como se dice’ and write up the words they need. They get their sheet of prompts and can make a few notes first to prepare for the game. The prompts are on this final slide in this presentation.

8 Deberes Choose 5 traditional British main courses (as might be typically available on a pub menu for Sunday lunch). Describe each one in as much detail as you can, referring to the speaking / writing frame you have just used to define different dishes. Bring your work with you to the next lesson. This is the preparation work for making restaurant wheels, which will be the next homework, after written work has been created. The wheels (2 x pieces of card fixed together with a butterfly pin) will have the English name of the meals and when the wheel is turned, a Spanish description of that meal will appear in the ‘window’.
