1 Superlative Adjectives
There are two ways to make superlative adjective: short adjectives: add "-est" long adjectives: use “most“ Los Adjetivos Superlativos describen la cualidad mas alta de una cosa, un grupo de cosas o personas. Ejemplo en español: El alumno más grande del curso. Long adjectives Short adjectives Adjetivos de 1 sílaba: Old, fast, late Viejo, rápido, tarde Adjetivos de 2 sílabas terminados en “y” happy, easy feliz, fácil Regla: agregar al final “-est" old - oldest late - latest fast – fastest Adjetivos de 2 sílabas no terminados en “Y” Modern, pleasant moderno, agradable Todos los adjetivos de más de 2 sílabas expensive, intellectual caro , intelectual Regla: usamos "most” antes del adjetivo modern → most modern expensive → most expensive

Los adjetivos cortos de 2 sílabas terminados en “Y” al pasarlos a superlativo se reemplaza la “Y” por la “i” como sales a continuación List of short superlative adjectives ending in – y: Lucky, luckiest, el más suertudo Heavy, heaviest, el más pesado happy, happiest, el más feliz silly, silliest, el más tonto Ugly, ugliest, el más feo happy, happiest, el más feliz Easy, easiest, el más facil
