El tiempo futuro Use the future tense to say what you think is probably true now or what might be happening right now. ¿Qué hora será? I wonder what time it is? El vuelo probablemente tendrá retraso. The flight must be behind schedule.

No servirán nada en el avión. They probably don’t serve anything on the plane. El vuelo directo será más caro, pero es más fácil. The nonstop flight may be more expensive, but it’s easier.

El tiempo condicional Use the conditional to say what you think was probably true or what might have happened in the past. El vuelo aterrizaría a las siete de la noche. The flight probably landed at 7 in the evening. Serían las ocho y media cuando llegamos al hotel. It must have been 8:30 when we got to our hotel.
