3If I had vacations, I would go fishing. Second ConditionalUSE: It is used to express unreal or improbable situations.Examples:If I had a million dollars, I would buy a big house.If we were in London today, we could be able to go to the concert in Hyde Park.If I had vacations, I would go fishing.
4Form IF + past, + subject + would/ could + verb ( base form) If I were you, I would tell everything.If I were you, I could look for anew job opportunity.If I were your father, I wouldn’t give you so much money.If I had vacations, I would sleep the whole day.If I had vacations, I could go to the beach.If I won the lottery, I would travel around the word.NOTE: Utilizamos la forma del verbo TO BE ( WERE) con todos los pronombres personales cuando nos referirnos a situaciones hipotéticas de forma mas formal, utilizando el segundo condicional. Ejemplo: If I were…/ If she were …/ If we were ... Etc.Pero también es correcto utilizar If I was you… ( es común utilizar esta expresión de forma hablada en un lenguaje informal.
