Haber In Español 1 y 2 we only use one form of haber. You have seen the word hay which means there is/ there are. In the imperfect we use había for hay. It means there was/ there were. It does not have a subject!!!!!
Remember when to use the imperfect: If the verb – 1. describes (it has to be in the imperfect) – 2. used to / would (it was a habit or a routine) – 3. was/were +ing (ongoing action
