Broadcom, Atheros y Marvell están produciendo chipsets basados en esa especificación Draft-N. Disponibilidad en Abril. Es estándard Draft-N permitirá interoperabilidad entre fabricantes. Draft-N podrá ser actualizable a n, sin embargo no al 100%. La especificación final se espera a principios del 2007.
