Masculine Feminine Singular Un Una Plural Unos Unas Ej: Un chico = a boy Una chica = a girl Unos chicos = some boys Unas chicas = some girls

I need the Spanish book. I have a friend. You need a backpack. She has the History binder.

6 Las Respuestas Yo tengo una carpeta.
Nosotros necesitamos unos papeles. Yo necesito el libro de español. Yo tengo un amigo. Tú necesitas una mochila. Ella tiene el cuaderno de historia.

7 ¿Cuánto? Mucho Poco To talk about amounts of things, use the following adjectives. ¿cuánto? Mucho Poco These words also agree with the noun they describe.

Yo tengo mucha. (I have a lot.) Yo tengo muchos libros. (I have many books.) Ella tiene pocos libros. (She has few books.)

12 La Hora – Time Vocabulario: De la mañana – in the morning
De la tarde – in the afternoon De la noche – in the evening/night El mediodía = noon La medianoche = midnight

13 La Hora – Time Vocabulario: Media – thirty Cuarto – quarter Remember:
From one minute to thirty use “y” From thirty-one to fifty-nine use “menos”. Go up to the next hour and minus the time back.

Es la una y veinte de la tarde. (1:20pm) Son las seis y media de la noche. (6:30 pm) Son las ocho menos cuarto de la mañana. (7:45 am)

15 La Hora To say at a specific time, use “a”.
A las dos y media, tengo el entrenamiento. A la una y diez, tengo el arte.
