1 Comparisions of equality Which are the Comparisons of equality the most common way that Spanish uses to indicate that two people or things are equally a certain way is to use the phrase "tan... como“ and The phrase is the equivalent of the English phrase "as... as."

2 To make comparisons of equality using ADJETIVES & ADVERBS in spanish, we use the formula:

3 Instructions for use Tan …..como( as ….as) Esta casa es tan peque ñ a como esa. This house is as small as that. Comparisons of equality adjetive

4 Tan … como(as ….as) Dora baila tan bien como Ricardo. Dora dances as well as Ricardo. Comparisons of equality adverb

5 Elena is as pretty as you. Elena es tan bonita como tu. Carlos runs as fast as pablo. Carlos corre tan r á pido como pablo.

6 To make comparisons of equality using nouns in inglish: We use the formula: As...+ many/much +noun + … as Emily has as many pets as Tyler. Comparisons of equality noun Adjetive of countable and uncountable nouns(many/much). Emily doesn ´ t have as much money as Tyler.
