I recommend visiting Cucuta.  Is the most beautiful city of the border near the country of Venezuela.  You can swim in exotic rivers and pools near Cucuta and you can eat delicious traditional food.   Is an ancient city with colonial architecture and excellent restaurants serving traditional and international cuisine.
