1 Marcos 6:7 - 13 7 En aquel tiempo, llamó Jesús a los Doce, los envió de dos en dos y les dio poder sobre los espíritus inmundos. 8 Les mandó que no llevaran nada para el camino: ni pan, ni mochila, ni dinero en el cinto, 9 sino únicamente un bastón, sandalias y una sola túnica.

2 10 Y les dijo: “Cuando entren en una casa, quédense en ella hasta que se vayan de ese lugar.
11 Si en alguna parte no los reciben ni los escuchan, al abandonar ese lugar, sacúdanse el polvo de los pies, como una advertencia para ellos”. 12 Los discípulos se fueron a predicar la conversión. 13 Expulsaban a los demonios, ungían con aceite a los enfermos y los curaban.

5 Mark 6:7 - 13 7 Jesus summoned the Twelve and began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over unclean spirits. 8 He instructed them to take nothing for the journey but a walking stick - no food, no sack, no money in their belts. 9 They were, however, to wear sandals but not a second tunic.

6 10 He said to them, “Wherever you enter a house, stay there until you leave from there.
11 Whatever place does not welcome you or listen to you, leave there and shake the dust off your feet in testimony against them.” 12 So they went off and preached repentance. 13 They drove out many demons, and they anointed with oil many who were sick and cured them.

Reflections on Mark :7 - 13 Reflexiones en Marcos 6: by Fr. Sam Rosales, S.J July 15, 2012 This is the 15th Sunday of Ordinary Time. St. Paul (Ephesians 1:3-14) blesses God for having chosen us to be blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. We are blessed because we are chosen to be holy and blameless before God. “He destined us in love. This is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it”.

10 Este es el decimoquinto Domingo Ordinario
Este es el decimoquinto Domingo Ordinario. San Pablo (Efesios 1:3-14) bendice a Dios por habernos escogido a ser bendecidos con toda clase de bienes espirituales y celestiales. Somos bendecidos porque fuimos escogidos a ser santos y irreprochables ante Dios. “Nos predestino en el amor. Esto es la garantía de nuestra herencia hasta que la poseamos”.

11 A blessing is a special communication of life, grace, vigor, strength, peace of mind. This is a peace that comes from strength, and not from weakness (John L. McKenzie, S.J., Dictionary of the Bible, p. 98). Yahweh alone can give this blessing. All others (priests, prophets, kings, fathers of families) pray that He will bless. This means you will be fertile and your blessings will multiply. Once spoken, it cannot be annulled.

12 Una bendición es una comunicación especial de vida, gracia, vigor, fortaleza, y paz en el corazón. Esta es una paz que viene por ser fuertes, y no por ser débiles (John L. McKenzie, S. J., Diccionario de la Biblia, p. 98). Solo Dios puede conceder esta bendición. Todos los demás (sacerdotes, profetas, reyes, padres de familia) rezan para que Dios bendiga. Ser bendecido quiere decir que serás fértil y que tus bendiciones se multiplicaran. Una vez pronunciada, una bendición no puede ser anulada.

13 Jesus came blessing everybody that was close to him
Jesus came blessing everybody that was close to him. Our Lady was blessed among women, when she became the Mother of Jesus, and our Mother (Luke 1:28). St. Joseph was blessed with holy dreams, and made strong and fearless. Elizabeth was blessed and became fertile when John the Baptist was conceived. John the Baptist leaped for joy as Jesus came close to him (Luke 1:44).

Jesús vino bendiciendo a todo aquel que se acercaba a Él. Nuestra Señora fue bendecida entre todas las mujeres, cuando ella fue la Madre de Jesús, y nuestra Madre (Lucas 1:28). San José fue bendecido con santos sueños, y se hizo fuerte y valiente. Isabel fue bendecida y se hizo fértil cuando Juan Bautista fue concebido. Juan Bautista salto de gozo cuando Jesús se acerco a él (Lucas 1:44).

15 The Apostles received in-service-training as they witnessed Jesus blessing loaves and multiplying them (Matthew 14:19, Mark 6:41, 8:7, and Luke 9:16). They saw how He went about doing good, having compassion on the poor, taking our infirmities, he bore our diseases, (and fulfilled Isaiah 53:4).

16 Los Apóstoles recibieron entrenamiento al ser testigos de Cristo Jesús bendiciendo los panes multiplicándolos (Mateo 14:19; Marcos 6:41, 8:7, y Lucas 9:16). Ellos vieron como Él andaba haciendo el bien, teniendo compasión con los pobres, “soporto nuestros sufrimientos y cargo con nuestros dolores” (cumpliéndose Isaías 53:4).

17 In Matthew 10:7-15 (the parallel to Mark 6:7-13) Jesus tells the Apostles that it was their turn. “Go preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is close at hand. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, and cast our demons. You received without pay, give without pay. Take no gold, nor silver, nor copper in your belts, no bag for your journey, no two tunics, nor sandals, nor a staff, for a laborer deserves his food.

18 En Mateo 10:7-15, (el paralelo de Marcos 6:7-13), Jesús dice a los Apóstoles que ahora es su tiempo. “Vayan y proclamen, diciendo: el reino de los cielos esta cerca. Curen a los enfermos, resuciten a los muertos, limpien a los leprosos, echen a los demonios. Gratuitamente lo recibieron, denlo gratuitamente. No se procuren oro, plata, ni monedas para llevarlo en la faja; ni tampoco morral para el camino, ni dos vestidos, ni sandalias, ni bastón, que el obrero merece su alimento.”

19 St. Paul marveled: “These are the riches of his grace, which he has lavishly bestowed upon us” (Ephesians 1:7-8)! Travel light. Trust in the Lord. Do not be afraid to receive and embrace the love of the Lord! San Pablo lo dice con maravilla: “¡Estas son las riquezas de su gracia, que ha derramado sobre nosotros” (Efesios 1:7-8)! Camina liviano. Confía en el Señor. ¡No tengas miedo recibir y abrazar el amor de Dios!

20 How can we not sing praises to the Lord for all his benefits
How can we not sing praises to the Lord for all his benefits? This mystery of God’s love for us is not over yet! It continues to our very day. All we have to do is turn to him with love and faith, expecting him to keep on doing what he has been doing all along. Let us work on awareness. Pray for faith. Pray for the gift of gratitude.

21 ¿Cómo será posible que no cantemos alabanzas al Señor por todos sus beneficios? ¡El misterio del amor de Dios para nosotros todavía no se termina! Sigue hasta nuestros días. Todo lo que hay que hacer es voltear hacia Él con amor y con fe, esperando que Él sigua haciendo lo mismo que siempre lo ha hecho. Hay que estar alertas. Hay que pedir fe. Hay que pedir el don de la gratitud.

The Apostles showed us the way that we were to follow. They were uneducated men yet changed the whole world. They are with us still interceding for us. Come Lord Jesus! Los Apóstoles nos mostraron el camino que hay que seguir. Aunque no eran hombres educados, cambiaron todo el mundo. Todavía están ellos con nosotros en la comunión de los Santos, intercediendo por nosotros. ¡Ven, Señor Jesús!
