Ir + a + infinitive (simple future) Use when you want to say “you are going to do something” Example: I am going to play baseball tonight.

Ir + a + infinitive Ir = to go A = to Infinitive= verb not conjugated (bailar, caminar, correr)

ejemplo I am going to walk (in the park.) 1.*Conjugate “ir” for the person I am going = voy 2.*add “a” after it with the infintive of the verb to walk = a caminar

You are going to dance saturday. You are going = vas To dance = bailar Put the “a” in between the “vas” and “bailar” & finish the sentence Vas a bailar el sábado.

ir a= to go to Yo= voy aNosotros= vamos a TÚ= vas a XXXXXX Él Ella = va a Usted Ellos Ellas = van a Ustedes

Remember!! Use “el” or “los” to say “on Monday, Tuesday”, etc. “A + el” turns into “al” BUT “A + la” stays the same “A la”
