24-feb-16SPAN 4351 - Harry Howard - Tulane University4 Ejercicio 1 MAMA: Pili, your birthday is the 28th. What do you want us to do to celebrate it? PILI:Well, we can invite Robert to come have dinner. MAMA:Very well. What should I prepare? PILI:You know that I always like for there to be a special cake, but other than that I don't care. MAMA:Let's see … we could serve fish if it weren't so expensive. PILI:Robert likes meat better in any event. Why don't we go to the market this morning and buy whatever the butcher has at a good price? MAMA:I agree. Shall we make chicken soup too? PILI:Yes, I think that everyone likes that soup. And, what should we drink? MAMA:Why don't you ask Robert to buy French champagne? His parents are very rich. PILI:Oh, Mom! Don't say that. I would like Robert even if he were poor too. MAMA:Excuse me, daughter. I know that Robert is a good guy.

They demanded for her to move by the 15th. We require that he (should) appear in person. cf. We require for him to appear in person I prefer that it (should) happen in the morning. cf. I prefer for it to happen in the morning.

PEPE:Dime. LOLA:Florinda se casa en abril. PEPE:¡No me digas! Estoy encantado de que se case.
