3 EXAMPLES Future tense translates to “ will + the action of the verb ” Ejemplos: Yo caminar é a mi trabajo hoy. – I will walk to my job today. Nosotros comer emos en un restaurante italiano esta noche. – We will eat in an Italian restaurant tonight.

4 IRREGULAR VERB STEMS The verbs on the next slide have an irregular verb stem. Add the endings already presented to you on to these stems.

13 Probability. English has many ways of expressing probability. Here is a list of some of the many possibilities of expressing doubt with the question “who is it?”. I wonder who it is. Who can it be? Who in the world is it? Who do you suppose it is? Who do you think it is?

14 ¿Quién será? Spanish uses the future tense to express probability in the present. All of the variations of English seen on the previous slide would be expressed by the question : “¿Quién será?”
