3 ¿Quién soy yo? Muerto Sujeto al poderío de Satanás
Hijo de la desobediencia Objeto de la ira de Dios Vivo Resucitado y en unión con Jesús Sentado en las regiones celestiales Hechura de Dios Misericordia de Dios Ephesians 2: 1-10 “And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience – among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you have been saved – and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. en unión con Cristo Jesús “saved” – tense = completed action with emphasis on its present effect ask Sorenson – alive together “with” Christ? (“in”) – “in” heavenly places “in” Christ Jesus Baptism – “IN” name of God, Holy Trinity, receives me into communion with Himself – no longer followers of the world. In Judaism, this phrase indicated that a person was committed to something or someone (i.e. circumcision “in the name of” the covenant = brought into the covenant. “In” the name of the Father – have God as your gracious father “In the name of the Son” – receives all benefits of the Son’s redeeming act “In the name of the H.S.”, receives life-giving, life-sustaining power and presence of the H.S. (BTW, also “IN” brings relationship to others – Eph. 2:19 “… no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.” OT – “servant” refers to one who occupies a special position in God’s royal administration of His kingdom (i.e. My servant David – 2 Sa. 3:18; My servant Moses – Ex. 14:31)

La palabra hebrea racham La palabra hebrea chesed Racham – to feel love and compassion like only a mother can (verb) – noun = womb; Hesed – more than 250 times in the OT – “loving Kindness” – what does this look like with the difficult member of the congregation? Agape – self-sacrificing, servant love – “in spite of” – asking nothing back – (motto – “What is my reward? I serve neither for reward nor thanks, but out of gratitude and love…) again – difficult member of congregation or pastor or church leader who doesn’t acknowledge what you’ve done but just demands more this is found everywhere God touches a life Splanchna – sees a need and acts!

Somos humildes... Jesús se rebajó voluntariamente, tomando la naturaleza de siervo y haciéndose semejante a los seres humanos. Y al manifestarse como hombre, se humilló a sí mismo  y se hizo obediente hasta la muerte, ¡y muerte de cruz! Filipenses 2:6-8 examples –

Cargamos las cargas de otros... …a fin de que no haya división en el cuerpo, sino que sus miembros se preocupen por igual unos por otros.
