1 Comparatives & Superlatives

2 Comparatives Utilizamos los adjetivos en grado comparativo para comparar dos cosas o personas entre sí. Utilizamos than para construir frases comparativas. En castellano utilizamos más + adjetivo + que

3 Comparatives Short adjectives (1 syllable) Añadimos –er o –r.
Two – syllable adjectives ending in –y Eliminamos la –y y añadimos –ier. Longer adjectives (2or more syllables) Utilizamos more delante del adjetivo. Irregular forms Algunos adjetivos tienen formas totalmente irregulares.

4 Superlatives Utilizamos los adjetivos en grado superlativo para comparar una cosa o persona con la totalidad del grupo al que pertenece. En inglés, siempre utilizamos the delante de los adjetivos en grado superlativo. En castellano utilizamos el más + adjetivo

5 Superlatives Short adjectives (1 syllable) Añadimos –est o –st.
