2 Describe tu casa. Describe your home.
Mi casa es bastante grande y muy antigua. Me gusta mucho parque es muy bonita. Vivo en una casa de dos plantas que está situada en las afueras de Helston a dos kilómetros de mi colegio. Vivo allí desde hace tres años. Describe your home. My house is quite big and very old. I like my house because it’s very pretty. I live in a two story house which is situated on the outskirts of Helston, two kilometres from my school. I’ve been living there for three years.

3 ¿Cuántas habitaciones hay? ¿Cuáles son?
Hay ocho habitaciones en total. Abajo hay el comedor, la cocina y el salón. Hay también un despacho donde trabaja mi padre. Arriba hay tres dormitorios y un cuarto de baño. Fuera tenemos un pequeño jardín delante de la casa y otro más grande detrás. How many rooms are there? What are they? There are eight rooms in total. Downstairs there is the dining room, the kitchen, and the living room. There is also an office where my dad works. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside we have a small garden at the front of the house and another bigger one behind.

4 What’s your bedroom like?
¿Cómo es tu dormitorio? Tengo mi propio dormitorio. Es cómodo y tranquilo. En mi dormitorio hay una cama individual y un armario blanco al lado de la puerta. Hay una estantería donde guardo mis libros y un ordenador sobre mi pupitre donde estudio. Tengo un tocador de discos compactos, pero no tengo televisor. What’s your bedroom like? I have my own bedroom. It’s comfortable and peaceful. In my bedroom there’s a single bed and a white wardrobe next to the door. There’s a bookshelf where I keep my books and a computer on my desk where I study. I have a CD player, but I don’t have a television.

5 ¿Qué haces para ayudar en casa? How do you help in the home?
Ayudo a mis padres. Hago las camas y saco el perro. También tengo que pasar la aspiradora. Recibo 5 libras de mis padres y las gasto en revistas. How do you help in the home? I help my parents. I make the beds and take the dog out for a walk. I also have to do the vacuuming. I get £5 from my parents and I spend it on magazines.

6 Háblame de tu rutina diaria. Talk to me about your daily routine.
Suelo levantarme a las siete. Desayuno cereales y té con leche. Voy al colegio. Vuelvo a casa a las tres y diez. Hago mis deberes y veo la televisión. Ceno a las seis. Me acuesto a eso de las once. Talk to me about your daily routine. I usually get up at seven. I have cereal and tea with milk for breakfast. I go to school. I come home at I do my homework and watch TV. I have tea at six. I go to bed at about 11.

7 ¿Qué vas a hacer esta tarde? What are you going to do this evening?
Que yo sepa voy a volver a casa a las cinco y cenar en seguida. Vamos a ir al cine en Penzance. Me gusta mucho el cine. Luego vamos a tomar algo y acostarnos a las once. What are you going to do this evening? As far as I know I’m going to return home at 5 and have tea straight away. We’re going to go to the cinema in Penzance. I like the cinema a lot. Then we’re going to have something to eat and go to bed at eleven.

8 ¿Qué hiciste en casa anoche? What did you do at home last night?
Anoche cené, vi la televisión, escuché música e hice mis deberes. Después ,e duché y me acosté a eso de las diez y media. What did you do at home last night? Last night I had tea, watched TV, listened to music and did my homework. Afterwards I had a shower, and went to bed at about 10.30
