2 Ser o Estar “to be” or “to be”
Ser: To be Describes who you are or what you are. Soy doctor. ¿Eres americano? ¿Cómo es el hombre? El es calvo y viejo. Somos listos (no tontos) Ellos son altos ¿Son ustedes alumnos? Estar: To be Describes how you are or where you are. Estoy muy mal. Estás en mi clase. ¿Dónde está Eduardo? El está herido. Estamos listos. Ellos están cansados. ¿Dónde están Uds.?

Ser: To be Describes who you were or what you were. And, time (la hora) Yo era un chico bueno. Tú eras muy inteligente. ¿Cómo era el hombre? Ella era bonita y lista. Éramos listos (no tontos) Ellos eran altos ¿Eran ustedes alumnos? Eran las ocho de la noche Estar: To be Describes how you were or where you were. Yo estaba muy feliz. Estabas en mi clase. ¿Cómo estaba él? El no estaba muy bien. Estábamos listos. Ellos estaban cansados. ¿Dónde estaban Uds.?
