ENG 1-12a Activity Ask pupils to choose an answer for each dinosaur – either Me gusta(n) or No me gusta(n) . Count in Spanish how many like each one to find out which one is most popular. Pupils could be asked to justify their answers in English. Extend task by counting No me gusta(n) answers. Prior learning: 1. Me gusta(n) 2. No me gusta(n) Follows on from previous task with information about different dinosaurs.

ENG 1-12a Prior learning: 1. Dinosaur names Activity Listen to the Spanish pronunciation of the dinosaur names compared with the English pronunciation. Ask pupils to identify where it differs e.g. Dinosaurio (dee-no) and Dinosaurio (di-no). Ask them to see if they can then pronounce the words following the activity correctly before listening to them to check.

Body parts Activity Looking at a picture of a dinosaur, ask pupils to work out which body parts we and they have in common and to list (or to think of the name of) as many of them as they can in Spanish.
