Los queremos invitas a visitar nuestra Biblioteca con sus hijos, todos los viernes, y buscar en el rincón de literatura infantil, un libro para disfrutar con ellos de una linda historia durante cada fin de semana.

Como sucede en muchas familias, la niña protagonista de Gorila, este cuento de Anthony Browne, vive sola con su padre, o al menos es lo que inferimos al no ver en las ilustraciones nada que represente la presencia de otros habitantes del hogar, menos de uno femenino que pudiese sugerir la figura de la madre. El padre es un personaje ocupado: trabaja todo el día y cuando llega de vuelta a casa, continúa con su trabajo; en las mañanas durante el desayuno, en vez de conversar y compartir el tiempo con su hija, se ocupa leyendo el periódico del día y luego sale muy apurado rumbo a su trabajo.
